Default How much crystal 90 for an APA?

I don't care so much about brewing exactly to style, but here's my recipe. Should be about 1.047 sg.

9lb maris otter
.75 lb crystal 90
.3 oz magnum @60
1 oz amarillo @15
1 oz amarillo @5
1 oz amarillo @whirlpool
1 oz amarillo @dryhop

All I have on hand is crystal 90.

That should work.

I think SNPA uses 0.75 lb of 60L, so yours will be a bit darker.

Looks good, I was able to get some 90L for real real cheap, so I use it in everything where I use crystal, including my pale turned out great.

I think you could use equal parts crystal 90 and carapils and get roughly the same as crystal 40.

But other than color, it won't really hurt anything. It will still make beer.
