Default Hoppy Red Ale (extract)

I'm planning my third batch, this being my first recipe creation. I could use some critisism. I really want a good red color for this ale and it seems like that can be tricky to acheive. I'm worried about roasted barley adding coffee taste, so I've kept the amount low. Hopefully all the caramel malts will overpower it. Any suggestions?

5 Gallon Batch
Expected OG 1.055
Expected FG 1.015
SRM 15
35 IBU
5.3% ABV

6lbs Munich LME (from northern brewer 50/50 Munich and Pale)
8oz Briess Pilsen Light DME
8oz Carared
8oz Caramel 80
4 oz Caramel 120
1oz Roasted Barley

60 Minutes 1oz Cascade
60 Minutes 0.5oz Willamette
10 Minutes 1oz Cascade
10 Minutes 1tsp Irish Moss
5 Minutes 0.5oz Willamette
Flame out 1oz Cascade
Flame out 1oz Cascade

Yeast-Safale US-05

That amount of roasted barley will not be too noticeable especially at 1 ounce. Many folks use an addition like that to get some color w/o too much flavor. I use Crystal 120 and Chocolate Malt to get a reddish amber in the SRM 18 range. So yours calculates to an SRM of 15 and that'll be a nice amber color.

Should the roasted barley be steeped for the same amount of time as the other grains? I think I remember reading a post about someone saying they steeped for a shorter amount of time to get the color and not the flavor, but I'm having a hard time finding it the post.

I've changed this recipe dozens of times and this is where I've ended up. Hopefully it won't be a mess of malts and hops. Hopville indicates that it would be well balanced, and the color will hopefully be red. I've decided to go with Liberty hops and Cascades because I love Red Seal Ale, and those tend to be the closest anyone has been to confirming what's in it. Please tell me what you think. I don't want to waste a bunch of time, money, and sanity for something that tastes like crap.
