Default Hop Stupid from Lagunitas...

Trying to find all grain recipe for hop stupid...
First I have to say that I am very impressed with its citrusy taste, its clarity and its price. I love hops and i know a lot of people steer away from the 100+ IBU's but this one seems to please even the hop phobic. I read about their use of hop extract and hop oils (who sells this magical concentrate?) and would love to give it a try.
Thanks for the help!

I enjoyed Hop Stoopid the few times I have had it. Acutally preferred it to Pliny the Elder in that the hops jumped out at you in every bottle whereas Pliny batches varied too much.

Lagunitas is so helpful that they provide this info for you: Malt, Hops, Yeast, and water.

Try this http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewing/hopshot.html , however I doubt it is what they are using.

and here is someone trying a recipe http://www.homebrewchatter.com/board/f34/hop-stoopid-t5757/

Let us know how it turns out.

Wow! The hop bill from the homebrewchatter link that you sent is enormous! A pound of hops!! I have to try it. Fits the hop stupid name. So what about the hop extract/oil. Anyone ever use it? Anyone come across a good supplier?

That seems insane.

I have tried it fresh at the brewery.

I think the Simcoe stood out the most to me. Very strong grapefruit finish...

Good chance they get both oil and extract from Hopunion. That's one of the bigger producers.
