I've had good results with Nottingham in other recent brews...I prefer not to spend more than a couple bucks on my yeast, though I'm sure a good liquid wheat yeast strain would be lovely, I can't justify the extra $5 for something the drinkers of this(myself included) probably won't notice. I've also got a few bottles of washed US-05 in the fridge..

Danstar has a munich wheat yeast that is almost the same price,i liked it and Safale 06 -a little pricier.Im going to try T-58 in a wheat next time i do a wheat. I just realized i paid 4.75 for notting ham and 2.50 for t-58? WTF??? They probably did it because thats what people are buying more of at my lhbs NICE! Its the new Danstar vaccume sealed package also,woooooo
Always something when i walk out of there, last few times i had near expired yeast.

brewing this on friday with some of my washed us-05. I'll report back with pics and such in a few weeks. Total cost of this with recycled yeast is like $14, and I already have the 2row on hand so it'll only be $11 this time. I remember making an extract honey wheat a few years ago that was nearly $30...but damned good.
