Default Honey APA/Braggot Idea

Last week in Colorado I was able to pick up 5lbs of local Durango honey for a bit over 5$.
Damn good deal I thought. Now i need something to do with it and have in my mind some kind of weird APA/Braggot fusion thing.
So here is what i'm thinking.

Brew Type: Partial Mash

Ingredients
Pre boil "tea"
1.00 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L
1.00 lb Honey Malt
1.00 lb Pale Malt (2 Row)
Boil
4.00 lb Extra Pale Liquid Extract
1.00 lb Wheat Liquid Extract
Hops
2.00 oz Cascade (60 min)
0.50 oz Cascade (30 min)
0.50 oz Goldings, East Kent (30 min)
1.00 oz Goldings, East Kent (15 min)
0.50 oz Cascade (5 min)
0.50 oz Goldings, East Kent (5 min)
At flame out
5.00 lb Honey
Yeast
1 Pkgs California Ale (White Labs #WLP001)

ANY thoughts or suggestions are very welcome.

headwithwings,
I made a similar beer recently while down here in Mexico. They have honey at the market for cheap. My recipe was:
Steep- 1lb Munich
5 lbs. DME
3 lbs. honey at flameout

60 min Centenial (8AA)
15 min centenial
5 min centenial

2 pkgs - us05 yeast

It turned out very tasty although a little alcoholic 7.5%avb.

Your recipe looks good to me.

The exchange rate for dollars down here is great right now. Something like 1.4 In fact I bought 6lbs of honey at the market here for my beer because it was so cheap but since my O.G. came in as high as it did, I decided not to add another 3 lbs to the fermenter.
