That's actually a pretty good price. We paid $40 (delivered to Austin), but it was part of a 4,620 pound order.

That's kinda crazy they just throw all those bags in the truck like that. I'd think they'd use a skid.

We're probably going to get Thomas Fawcett and a bunch of other grains delivered to us next week for $40 a bag (in bulk). It's only a 1/2 hour drive for me, which is worth it because the LHBS is about 20 mins.

Naw, they came on two skids (42 bags a pallet). This is after we broke them down and organized it for checking off the packing list.

My LHBS guy said that prices for all beery ingredients are going up this year. Apparently even the pizza biz is taking it in the shorts b/c a bag of flour is 4x what it was a year ago.
Still, it's 10x more satisfying to crack open an all grain beer you've brewed yourself than a BMC.
