Default Here Comes the Hops!

Yeah! My rhizome's coming up! This is the 2nd season for it, so I have good expectations. I was thinking of planting another rhizome this year, I really wanted Amarillo but I can't seem to find anyone who carries it. Is it not available in rhizome yet? I know it's a relatively new variety.

means you have to sneak into the hop field that commercially grows amarillo and swipe a root cutting.

where did you guys order the rhizomes? is it too late, or do they ship through march?

Hey Omni-How'd You plant them, meaning where, what soil, what sun??I figure they grow pretty hardy and relatively easily...
Ever cut the top off a pouch of Cascade pellets and stick your nose in--Does smell familliar-kinda skunky... (ah the days).

LOL! Nice... I'm actually growing it in a 5-gallon planter. I'm using the Miracle-gro potting soil & it gets full sun. I planted it last year but it only grew a little bit and no flowers. It's already looking stronger this year.

I don't think you can order the rhizomes just yet except for the places that do pre-orders. They should be available in another couple of weeks ...
