Help with Extract/AG Stout recipes
Hey guys, first time poster, long time reader...
Some friends and I came across a once-used-for-beer whiskey barrel from a local brewery this past weekend and we wanna fill that baby up with some homebrew. The problem is it's 50-53 gallons so it's gonna take about 9 or 10 or so batches to fill her up (as we all have 5 gallon carboys), so we thought it'd be fun to gather all of our friends (10 or so guys) that homebrew to do the job. Now the only problem is a few of us are extract-only guys and a few are AG, and I'm struggling to find a stout recipe that is the same recipe for both methods. Any help anyone has would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!
