Recipes 

I am trying to figure out a recipe for a mini-mash Black Ale - (steam type 1554). I have found recipes for all grain, I can’t do AG as of yet, but none for mini-mash. I have never created a recipe so I am having trouble jumping into this. Any suggestion or should I just use this kit with a lager yeast

Recipes 

To convert AG to mini-mash, all you do is tally up the specialty grains and use the same weight of 2-row in the mash. Subtract the amount of 2-row in the mash from the amount of 2-row in the AG recipe and use that much pale/light LME.
