Default Has anyone tried this - fruit flavored water in beer

So there I was drinking a fruit 2-o and I says to myself "Self, I wonder if this would work as sparge water in a light fruity brew"

Anyone ever try it?

Nichts! Kein Obst in Bier! Reinheitsgebot!!!

Interesting concept though, but I think it would go south in the boil.

Just so you are aware, most artificial sweeteners lose some sweetness when you heat them.

Sparging a wheat with a lemon fruit20 doesn't sound horrible though. Expensive, but not horrible...

Artificial sweeteners are also completely unfermentable. So, you may be sweetening your beer beyond repair.

So maybe adding it post-fermentation is the answer.
