Green Flash Brewing?

I was at Stone Brewing Co in Escondido over the holiday and had a local brewing co's 9% DIPA. Now I am not sure if the beer was called Green Flash or the Brewing Co that made it was called Green Flash? , the point is that I want to recreate this heavenly beer and want to know from someone that has had this , what they think is in it that makes it smell and taste like apples. I was thinking the Yeast strain or the hops used. The beer was really good and after a few Stone brews it's hard to remember things. I might write them and ask if I get no feed back here. I am going up to Stone for lunch in about an hour. I have not been there since they opened the resteraunt. My neighbor is the new chef there ( I think the head chef) so hopefully we can get some freebees.
