Default General guidelines for converting from AG to other types

Hello, I have only brewed 2 batches so far and I would like to do one more brew by steeping the grains in the water and using that with extract (is this called partial mash?)

anyway is there a sure way to convert from AG to extract? someone told me reduce the bulk malt by 20% and use that weight in extract, and then use the same amount of premium malts like chocolate malt and stuff and steep those...

is that correct?

thank you!

I have a chart that measures the comparisone of grain to LME to DME.

The format does not paste well.

If you want a copy then email me and I'll send it to you. Same goes for anyone else.
