Edit to explain: I know Vinnie's pliny clone calls for 14 and 5d dry hop, which may be where your plan comes from and may be something that works for you. My suggestion is based on the fact that I haven't personally found any increased aroma from longer than 7d, and that "in your face" aroma seems to fade pretty quick for me so I keep it short especially if not dry hopping in the keg.
