Default 'friend maker 'raspberry' wheat'

I found a recipe on the internet for a hefe called 'friend maker wheat' and wanted to try it out. I was short a couple pounds of two row, the yeast and the hops. I stopped by my LHBS yesterday hoping to get what I needed and apparently, they were short on yeast... and hops... I really wanted to brew today so, I made the decision to try and modify the recipe into a raspberry wheat.

Here's what I did. Beersmith didn't yell at me so, I figure at the least I'll wind up with beer...

Type: All Grain
Batch Size: 5 gal
Boil Size: 6 gal
Boil Time: 60 Min

6.0 lb Pale Malt 2-row
2.0 White Wheat Malt
1.0 Caramel Wheat Malt
1.0 Wheat Malt
.5 Fuggles @ 60
.5 Fuggles @ 10
White Labs European Ale (wlp011)

I went with the original mash schedule as opposed to what Beersmith said. Well, close enough anyway...

60 min Mash In 12.50 qt at 168F 152F
10 min Mash Out 6.0 qt at 208F 168F

Nothing was said about sparge temp so, I used another 3 gallons at 170F to hit my boil size.

Est OG: 1.056
Est FG: 1.017
Est ABV: 4.97
Bitterness: 10.7

Actual OG: 1.050
Measured FG: ???
Actual ABV: ???

I am going to leave it in the primary for a couple of weeks. When I transfer to secondary, I plan on racking on top of a couple pounds of raspberries, (maybe 3) where it will sit for at least a month.

I'm fairly excited as I have never modified a recipe to suit what I think might be better! I'm a little excited to see how this turns out.

Good choice on the yeast. It won't interfere with the raspberry and it will bring the malt out.
