Default Flying Dog - Horn Dog

I had one of htese the other night and it was fantastic. I have searched hight and low for a recipe clone of this Barley Wine without any luck - Anyone have one they have come up with?

From their site...

ABV: 10.2%
Plato: 25
IBU's: 45
Specialty Malts: Munich, 40L Carastan, 120L Crystal

Hops: German Perle, Northern Brewer, Cascade
Process: Aged for a minimum of three months before being packaged

I have had this too. In fact I think I have 3 leftover from a 4-pack. Its a nice beer. Maybe somebody will have one for ya.

I bet you could make one that's close with those ingredients just winging it. Use a software pack to formulate the recipe.

When I tried this beer my first reaction was "dang, this tastes JUST like my Honey Imperial Porter!!". Recipe in my dropdown. Go a little lighter than mine on the SRM (maybe drop the chocolate entirely), use Perle for bittering instead of Horizon, and I imagine you will be shockingly close...

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but this is my favorite barley wine I've ever had! And really would do anything to make a clone of this. Since this thread was posted anyone else attempt a clone, or know of any sources that would help?
