Do you have any brewing software?
If not try
A few pointers.
- If it's your first brew it is probably best to stick to a tried and tested recipe.
- Your first brew should be treated as a test run so you can take measurements and adjust volumes temperatures.
- Don't reckon on anything above 65% efficiency.
What style are you aiming for with the recipe?
My first reaction is there aren't enough hops.
You have nothing to aid head retention.
10lbs of grain for a 5 gallon batch: It's not a case of correct, it's a case of getting what you want. I'd say it is probably right for a average abv brew. Plug it into some software and see what you get, Im guessing you get around 4.5%ABV
