Fig Mead/Wine/Beer recipe?

I live in a house with three beautiful fig trees in the front yard. By mid-August, I'm literally up to my ears in figs! I'd love to try something new with them this year.

Does anybody have any tried and true recipes for a fig mead, wine or maybe even a beer? I'm willing to give just about anything a go.

I was thinking of putting some into the secondary of a dubbel. But just a gallon test batch, not sure if the flavor will stick around.
Did you end up trying anything?

This year I have sun dried the figs and then will chop them up and add them to secondary of this year's Dubbel
