Default EdWort's Haus Pale With Maris Otter?

Has anyone tried making EdWort's Haus Pale with Maris Otter for the base grain? I am currently drinking my first batch of it and am enjoying it. I used American 2 row in mine, but I'm wondering if it would be even better with the imported stuff.

I think I'll try it with my next batch. I'm also going to have to try it with a different hops variety, too, as Cascade seems to be awfully hard to come by right now.

I never use 'merkin 2-row...MO is my house base grain. I've made my own variation of his haus pale (I use victory malt) and the maris otter, well, I think it adds a touch of toastiness to it. Not that the victory doesn't contribute that too...

MO should add a nice flavor to it.

Change the hops, change the base malt, it won't really be EDWORT'S Haus Pale Ale, but that's fine... MO makes a great base for that type of beer.
