Default CT brewers - where do you buy bulk grain? Group buy?

Last time, I bought a 55# bag of 2-row from the LHBS, but I'd like to get a better deal than that. Anyone doing group buys in CT?

Thanks

We do but won't need any until early next year!

I've never done one, but I'd be in for sure.

I'm a group buy virgin. How does it work out? What did it cost per lb. last time?

Good questions all. Maybe Poobah can point the way while I engage in some research.

I have to dig out the paperwork but it's like $35-$40 a bag from North Country Malt.

I'd be in for a CT group buy.

If you guys can move some grain to the eastern part of the state, it appears 1 or 2 of you are, I'd be interested even though I'm in RI.
