Default Crystal Malt Madness!

I recently ordered a bunch of varied lovibond crystal malts, and decided it would be fun to do a brown ale featuring a little bit of each of them. I will be running this beer tonight, the following is my grain bill, haven't decided on a hop schedule yet, likely gonna use saaz, though.

7 lb maris otter
1.5 lb flaked barley (thought the creaminess would go good with the caramel, may have gone overboard)
4 oz chocolate malt
2 oz each of the following lovibond crystal malts : 10, 20, 40, 60, 75, 90, 120, 150 (total 1 lb crystal)

Anyone else try something similar?

Sounds like fun!

Each one of those crystal malts will contribute a unique flavor. You won't be able to discern them because of the wide variety of individual flavors you will have added. Rather, it will be a blend or medley of contributions.

Let us know how it turns out. I've never tried it, but I'm sure somebody has.
