Default crushed flaked rye?

I just received my ingredients in the mail for the 777 from Midwest. I told them to crush the grains and they even crushed the flaked rye. Why would they do this? I assume that everything will still be fine but I am just confused.

They just dumped everything in the crusher, I'd guess. Easier that way. Won't hurt anything.
