Default Cranberry Imperial Stout

Hi, I plan on brewing an Imperial Stout (no recipe yet). I want to add cranberries to it once fermentation is done. The thing is I plan on aging it for 3-4 months, I want to know if I add the cranberries and let them for the whole 3-4 months or I just add them like 2 weeks before bottling/kegging? Thanks
