I've got five gallons of porter sitting in primary, dumping it to secondary tomorrow. But I keep going back and forth on whether to add toasted coconut shavings or coconut extract to the batch (and don't get me started on wondering what volume of either to use).
Real Coconut Extract...I don't think your beer will pick up any flavor from the shavings. What about Coconut rum? Just add a small amount at a time until you are happy with the flavor.
