Default Choc Malt VS Choc Wheat Malt

The choc malt referred to in recipes is obviously malted barley - what flavours / characteristics does choc wheat malt add to a beer in comparison ?
Apparently its good for head retention.
Im referring to a regular stout - not a "wheat" beer.

Chocolate wheat malt is sweeter and there's no husk-bitterness. It should work just fine in most stout recipes, even better in milk stouts.
