Hey Cheese, question:
I have Briess Bavarian Wheat DME from MoreBeer. Will that do for the Wheat DME?

I forgot about 8 grolsch bottles of this brew in teh back of my coldest fridge for about 4 months. All that cold worked miracles on this brew. Of course all the yeast and haze fell out to the most beautiful, clear, and delicious brew I have ever made. Maybe i should get over my reluctance to lager.

I sent cheese a PM, but maybe it's already been posted and I missed it..

Is there an extract version to this? I guess I'm even willing to do a partial-mash.. Dunno really much about anything since I have only read - I'm a hands on kinda guy.

When you were asking about my Cream Ale, I thought you meant my Amarillo Cream ale!

Look at the first page of this thread for the extract version. Or just a couple posts up where I posted the Beer Tools output.

Another noob question from me...

I am purchasing the ingredients for this now and have the option between Briess Caramel 60L or Briess Caramel 60L crushed. What's the right one to pick?

You can get to extract version from Cheese's post signature. Its #1 on the past winner list.

Cheesefood,

Just wanted to hop on the praise bandwagon-I brewed this and have really been enjoying it for several weeks now.

Thanks for sharing the recipe!
