Default Can a yeast starter be saved?

I made a 2.5L starter on Friday but I didn't get to brew as planned. I won't be able to brew until this weekend or possibly later. I know that a starter should last about 5-6 days but what if that's not enough? Could I maybe decant it and freeze it? What else might work? Thanks, Mike

Just put it in the fridge. To freeze it, you'll need to mix it with glycerine, but if you;re planning on using it in the next few weeks that isn't necessary.
