Can someone suggest something red?
 

Want to make a red ale or lager and want to keep it lighter. (OG .050 or less.) Also don't like a ton of bitterness.
I've seen a few made by members but obviously never tasted them. Also saw a red ale on Northern Brewer for like $20 for the kit.

If anyone can recommend a store bought kit, or a good recipe I would appreciate it. (has anyone made the red featured in one of the recent BYOs?)

I purchased AHS Smithwicks clone. Then took an OZ of cascades out of the mix...used WLP004 and have a very nice Irish Red...OG was...???? 1.047?? ish?
