Has anybody brewed the BYO Newcastle Clone recipe? I am wanting to brew a mild and Newcastle is one of my favorites of this style. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
It's my sister's favorite beer, but I haven't wanted to devote the time for "aging" the old ale component of the recipe. But one of these days I'm going to do their "mixed" version of the recipe and see how it tastes.
I just bottled the clone in my signature last night and it tastes VERY close to the original. I did the hops a little different, but other than that it's spot on!
