Hey guys.. looking to do a brown porter..

The one I like best uses 1/2 lb caramunich and 1/2 lb Special B instead of the C80L that the BYO recipe uses, but otherwise is very similar.

hey orfy.. I got the ingredients to brew your porter tomorrow.. but they had 2 oz packages of fuggles @ 6AAU and 1 oz packs at 4.0AAU.. What should I do to make it even out to 4.5? First time i have had to deal with that.. I have beersmith if there is some sort of calculator there.. thanks

Yes.

Adjust the profile of the fuggles then adjust the wieght to match the IBUs.
No biggy. If yours is different it may be better.
It's a judgment thing. I made my recipe up and it tasted great.
Here's the recipe for both the porter and rubost porter. (I even americaniZed it for you)
