briess 2-row pale malt versus briess pale ale malt

Any comments on flavor differences between these? Is there a perceptible difference when used in pale ales? I wouldn't expect to be able (personally) to appreciate a difference between them when used in a brown/porter/stout/etc.

I'm ready to buy a 50# sack of one or the other. I've used the brewers 2 row pale malt on a number of occasions, but never the pale ale malt, so just looking for some opinions/input.

Thanks.

Most likely imperceptible to anyone.

I use the pale ale just because it's a point darker, and same cost.

For lighter beers than pales and such, use two-row to maintain a light color.

I stocked up on Great Western Pale opposed to their regular 2-row because I thought it was a good compromise between a standard 2-row and something like Maris Otter Pale.

Thx for the input...I guess I'll go with the pale ale. Should suit my all around purposes just fine.
