This is just me but I like 30% Rye in my rye beers. I did 16% once and it just wasn't for me. Also, why not just do it all MO instead of only 10%? Once last thing, I'm personally not a fan of 30 minute hop additions unless you're trying to nail down a certain IBU count. You don't get as much bittering as a straight 60 minute addition and you don't really get much, if anything, in terms of flavor so it seems like a waste to me. I'd bump those down to somewhere from 20-0, especially considering those are fairly pricey hops.

Other than that I dig it. I like the idea of the hop combo for a Rye beer.

Thanks. I actually dropped the 30 min addition all together. I have it boiling away right now. I have 250 lbs of 2 row and just a little mo, the malt bill is actually based on alpines Nelson, which I brewed and finished in short order.

I wanted to change up the hops this time, I love citra and simcoe and wanted to try Nelson in a supporting role to see what kind f subtleties I could achieve. Although nelson is good when it's in your face as well.
