So I am brewing anouther Hefferveisen and SWMBO would like a hint of limon in it how much zest should I use and when should I use it???
AFAIK you should add lemon zest at flameout. I'm not sure of the exact amount. The other option is to make a basic Hefewiezen and have some sliced lemon for serving.
Bump, anyone have an input on quantity this is a 5 gallon batch
I would add about 1.5 oz. for the last 10 min. of the boil. That should make it noticeable without taking over.
