I'm looking at making a black ipa and was wondering how much DME to use. Right now I'm looking at 5lb batch- 6lb dark DME, .5lb caramel 80, .5lb midnight wheat and 6oz of various hops
I just made this Black IPA in AG form last night, and it has promise to be one major bad ass with an OG of 1.080. The link below is a review, and the Extract recipe. I would give you the link to MidWest, but this is a seasonal kit from them. Hope it helps for ideas.
