Default Belgian Strong wit cherries

After tasting this beer, http://halesbrewery.com/brews.htm I have decided to make a similar one for myself. Morebeer now has a kit, (see below), but I want to come up with my own recipe. I was thinking of adding (thawed), frozen pie cherries to the secondary. I am just wondering how much to add. I came up with a Golden strong ale recipe that I am going to use.
