Default Belgian Candi Sugar Timing Question

I've seen a lot of thread son the forum talking about Belgian candi sugar and when to add it. Typically, I add mine at the end of the boil, but would there be any noticeable difference if it was added at the beginning or middle of the boil?

Heh, I'm going to guess that there isn't much difference, judging by the response.

I make mine during the mash in while waiting (Gives me something to do). The only difference is I don't let it harden and keep adding 1-2 tablespoons of water until the end when I bring the temp up for a few min. Then I add about 2 cups of water to dilute it and keep it liquid, or if I'm ready to mash out I use that instead of water.

So I guess the short answer to the question is, I add it at the beginning.
