Default Anyone have a recipe for a mild winter ale?

Swmbo wants me to brew a mild winter ale but the only recipe I can find uses a base English grain that I do not have access to. Thus, does anyone have a recipe for a mild winter ale that uses pale malt or standard 2 row as the base malt? No LHBS where I live to buy the Maris Otter. She tried the Goose Island version the other day and enjoyed but I don't necessarily need a clone version of that beer to make her happy.

[I did try going through the recipe section prior to this post to try to find something that would work. Thought it best to ask members on this forum before I visit any other group.]

I did Orfy's mild-mannered ale as a partial grain with light DME and I liked it. Even without the MO, it was one of the best beers I've made. But since MO brings a slight nutty flavor to the party, maybe you add a small amount of Victory malt to round things into form.
