Default Anyone ever use Super Kleer finings?

How well does it work? I'd like my beer to come out just a little bit clearer. I think Irish moss in the boil did help a little, but I just want to take it one step further.

I've tried beerClear. Add 1 teaspoon to the secondary the day before bottleing

I am not sure how well it works... Super-KLEER is made of kieselsol and chitosan (shell fish). So becarful when serving your beer to friends if they are allergic to shellfish (or if they are vegan).

I think how it works is it attracts protiens to clump to it. Once the protien chain is heavy enough, it settles out to the bottom of the carboy.

I bought a pack back when I started brewing, but never used it. Mostly bc it don't mind a little haze in my brew. I don't know if there are negative taste effects from using super kleer.

Give it a try: I think you add it to the carboy a day or 2 before bottling.
