Default any good rye recipes out there?

Hi im trying to plan a few brews in advance and would like to try a rye pale ale style... ive used rye malt in a porter but it didnt realy come through all that much, ive got a couple pounds of rye malt and some flaked malt. Any ideas which hops go best with this style? the peppercorn rye bock from dogfishhead looks good but im a bit afraid of adding "spices" after my holiday spice ale turned out so nasty .

anyways thanks for any input

bottled - oak barrel stout
up next - creemore springs clone
easy pale ale, rye pale ale

Chocolate wheat malt is an interesting grain as it doesn't have the burnt-husk flavor of chocolate barley.
