So I've purchased several ounces of Sorachi Ace hopps and have yet to find anything i want to put them in. I figure why not make a Japanese IPA, working title is SamuraIPA.
I planning on doing something simple. Pale malt extract, shoot for around 1.07 OG. Then for the hop adds I wanted to just stick with the Sorachi, maybe 2-3 oz at 60min and 5 oz at flame out.
Really I'm just looking for input on this hop. Has anyone used them before? Has anyone used them as the only hop in a recipe?
