Have you ever brewed this?
I wanted something that would come out sort of reddish and thick, as in the 'Tale of the Destruction of Humanity' when Sekhmet got drunk, confusing the Ennead's beer for human blood. Maybe add some emmer? The Egyptians did brew with it often.
And, I'll try to figure out the equivalent sweetness of date juice and/or honey to use in lieu of the corn sugar.
But this is a helpful beginning.
