Default Amarillo/Simcoe availability improving

PSA:

Amarillo and Simcoe hops should start becoming more widely available over the next couple of weeks at near-normal prices. Probably unfulfilled contracts being re-packaged for the homebrew market.

None of my homebrew shops ever showed signs of a shortage so I always assumed the hysteria was a little fabricated.

My LHBS didn't have either one for a long time but I was pleasantly surprised to see Amarillo on my last visit.

You could also wait a month and buy them fresh.

I haven't had a problem finding Amarillo, Simcoe on the other hand....... I just found some and bought 5 oz. Unfortunately they packaged it all in one bag instead of 5 individual ounces. Neighbors have a vacuum sealer though!!
