Hey guys,
I want to brew an all citra ipa. A local brewery in my area brewed a single hop, single grain double ipa pumping in at 8.8%abv. I only plan on brewing a single but want to replicate the same flavor.
I've brewed a few hop forward IPAs only using 7lbs light dme, 8oz carapils, 8oz corn sugar with fantastic results.
I just wanted your opinion on if you think it's too much citra.
7lbs light dry dme
8oz carapils
8oz corn sugar
1oz citra @60
1oz citra @30
1oz citra @10
1oz citra @5
1oz citra @0 (whirlpool for 15min)
Dry hop 2oz citra
Yeast is WLP001 California ale.
60 min boil
Beer smith says the ibus comes out to 64.7 and an abv of 7.2%
Thanks in advance
