Default Alehoof!

I have a friend who has some alehoof growing in his yard, and I am curious about brewing up something with it. Probably an IPA, given that all the (few) descriptions I've read of its impact are as a bittering agent. Radical Brewing has but the briefest of notes on it. Anyone ever mess with this stuff before?
