I am really impressed with knowledge of most of the people in this forum.
Here's a couple of more.
-How much Alcohol content would one cup of corn sugar add.
-And for that matter, one cup of Belgian Candi Sugar.

P.S. Just watched the movie Beerfest. Not bad in a College Frat House sorta'
way

Andy

IIRC, the corn sugar should add right at 1% ABV, maybe a little less. The candi sugar should add about 25% less, and make the brew a tiny bit sweeter.

I am doing research to make a Gluten Free Beer. Thats why I have plans for the Corn Sugar and Candi Sugar. Not unless anybody has other suggestions.
I would like to use the Candi Sugar to add some sweetness because of the Rice. I guess I could eliminate Corn Sugar altogether and save it for the priming and bump up rice solids and candi sugar. I am looking for atleast
4.5% ABV

I cant use any kind of malts. Thats why I am using Rice Syrup Solids.
Any suggestions

I have to brew GF and I use the white sorghum syrup from Briess, and the brews I have had so far aren't too bad. . I used molasses on my last brew and it really added color and a nice carmel flavor.
