Default AHS Rogue Hazelnut Clone

My GF really likes this beer and I'm considering brewing it for her (all grain). I've searched through this forum and others for a Rogue Hazelnut Clone recipe and haven't found much consistency as far as the grain and hop bill.

I've had good results with AHS kits. Has any tried their Rogue Hazelnut kit? Not much feedback in the reviews.

I'm also planning on 1/2oz (1 Tbsp) of hazelnut extract at bottling.

I know this prolly doesn't help, but I've got 5gal of this in primary right now.

Based on the comments, and the fact that I LOVE hazelnut, I bought an extra bottle of hazelnut extract. So I'll be adding both of 'em at bottling. There's another thread I posted in regarding extract, that has a few experiences of other brewers adding it @ bottling. I'll subscribe to this thread and try and update in a few weeks after I try the brew.

feel free to PM me in 3-4 wks and ask how it was, just in case I forget to post here again. I'll be excited to have an alert when I login to HBT

EDIT: found the nut extract thread: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/adding-nut-extract-350586/

I went with this recipe instead: http://www.brewmasterswarehouse.com/recipe/4e2370a7/ planning on brewing this within the next week or so, and I will update this thread when complete. I received .65oz of hazelnut extract and at bottling, I'm planning on using about 1/2 the bottle at first, then adjusting.

Just a little bump,

I added the 2nd bottle of extract, and HOLY COW it was horrible. I have to absolutely recommend AGAINST doing 2 bottles of the extract (that you get with the kit). To me it tastes like an artificial extract, and 2 bottles in a 5gal batch overpowers the beer taste. Tastes like I'm drinking the extract by itself.

this will be the first batch I'm actually going to dump.
