Default AHS - Dunkelweiss Hops question 10 IBUs?

I purchased a kit from AHS of their Edelweiss Dunkel Weissbier since I have never brewed a dunkel before. I was looking in Beer Advocate to see what high rated Dunkel I could get my hands on.

The question is the only hops used is Hersbruker (wtf is that? LOL I had to look it up.) and Hersbruker, once you do some research has only 2% alpha acids AND it's used as a bittering.

So many questions pop into my mind. Is this typical of a dunkel?? Only about 7.7 IBUs?

Also 0 suggestions on fermentation temp - cooler or warmer I know it means a ton for Hefe's. So! Clove? or banana? flavor.

With 3068/WL300, I prefer 68ºF/20ºC.

Weizenbiers are all about yeast and malts. An ounce of noble hops in 5 gallons is plenty. I seem to remember something about Schneider Weiss (?) getting something like 0.07 gm/L hops....

EDIT: Yop.

This is like giving new meaning to "Low Hops". I've never seen a 2.2 Alpha used as bittering before.
