Adjuncts in Oatmeal Brown Ale?
So.... I have brewed a 6 gal split-batch holiday beer, which consists of a brown ale with oatmeal and brown sugar (Zamil's Oatmeal Cookie recipe), I will likely keep 1/2 normal without any adjuncts, but I would Like to experiment with the other 3 gallons in the secondary.
It wont exactly be a session beer (expecting ~6.5% abv). I am aiming for something complex enough for a beer enthusiast to enjoy, yet simple and playful enough for non-beer people to enjoy as well (hence the adjunct ideas).
What do you think would be a good adjunct (additional flavor) for an oatmeal beer? Vote below, or post other ideas.
I just managed to make vanila and lemongrass of all things, work in a wit also containing oats. Go for it mate
