It looks good but 1 lb. of Carapils seems a bit high. What was the idea behind using a pound? I'm making my first brown tommorrow.

Not too sure, i just noticed that alot of the commertial nut browns i could find used 1lb Carapils. the recipe ended up diffrent when i hit my LHBS.

6 oz Roasted Barley

1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
8 oz. British Carastan
2 oz. American chocolate
2 oz. American black patent
