So I have a porter finishing up soon.. Any ideas of something cool to brew on a cake of this yeast? I'm doing extract still.. If you have a good idea I'd love to hear it.. Still pretty new to this...

Alot of the dogfish head IPA clones call for ringwood. I'm really enjoyed my 60min IPA clone and have my second batch in the secondary now. I think it's worth a shot.

Here's my thread about it with ingredients:

Yooper and Yuri have also done all grain versions of it. Really, the Ringwood is a good yeast for any hoppy pale ale, or IPA.

I think that harpoon IPA uses ringwood. could do that. i think there is a recipe in the IPA section.

I have one thats slightly different that a taste in the secondary shows its pretty good.
