Default You CAN Crush with a Burr Mill!

My Mom purchased a flour mill recently so I figured I'd try it for brewing. It's a burr-type mill, which I think is the same as the corona mills (at least similar).

I brewed with the crush pictured below and got 75% efficiency and it drained perfectly. I'm pleased!

Yeah, you're right, it took almost 30 mins. But that's about how long it takes to heat strike water on my stove, so it worked out fine.

Glad you made it work - fiddling with the grind is the big hassle - once set, it's good to go. Been brewing with a hand-crank Polish corona-type for 15 years. While a proper roller mill would be a nice thing, it's not a high priority, and is only going to happen on the overly backlogged DIY method, since this does work.
